Can anyone tell me what I can do to help me get a job as a receptionist?

Can anyone tell me what I can do to help me get a job as a receptionist or something similar...I have years of expeierence working in copy and print centers doing business work but I would also like to add some courses to my resume. Something quick and easythough...Just wondering what they look for! thank you

As the owner of an insurance agency, I can tell you that I'm looking for a person who is extroverted, has a positive attitude and good phone voice and phone skills.

The receptionist needs to have computer skills and know how to use Microsoft Word. We also have a customer relationship management system, and you should know what that is.

I think most managers would hire a receptionist with an expectation to train them on the specific tools used in their business.

One positive feature that would win me over in an interview is a willingness to trial the position for a week or so to learn if the receptionist is compatible in the office environment.
