Reasonably-Price Furniture in Emirates?

Hi. I will soon be moving to the UAE, and I would like to know where to get reasonably-priced furniture from because.. well, let's face it.. The rich home-center-like businesses are getting rich because they're draining our pockets dry...

Oh, Ikea for sure, if you are moving to Abu Dhabi they have a huge Ikea in Marina Mall. Also in Abu Dhabi is Pan Emirates, which has reasonably priced things, except it is more expensive then Ikea. If you really want to go for something mre exotic, there's a store called Marina (there is a small one in Abu Dhabi mall, and a larger one that opened recently in Al Wahda mall. The biggest one is in Dubai)

But for cheaper prices, I would def. check out Ikea [=

IKEA. There's one in Dubai and another in Abu Dhabi.

Ikea is your best choice, also try some of the smaller furniture stores on Airport Road near Pizza Hut/Popeyes. Many people who stay temporily buy used furniture which is in excellent condition but ( from expats who have only stayed short time too) loads of these shops again on airport road
( get off the airport road to behind the shops there).
