Which part of Texas has the best school district and provides lots of family activities?

We're relocating to Texas and want to find a city/town that has excellent schools, close to nature with lots in store for nature walks and other family activities, accesible to a business district (jobs, shopping centers, restaurants) and most importantly has reasonable priced BRAND NEW homes.

This area is beautiful and economically very strong.

Just 30 min. N. of Dallas. We have plenty of our own jobs and services that no one actually goes to Dallas. Maybe for the theater. Even though we have a community play house here.

My sister lives in Frisco, TX she loves her town too.

Check out www.realtor.com
Plug in those towns and you will see the real estate just like the mls.

The climate is nice here. Dry and slight breeze on hot days. Not humid as the southern parts of TX.

Best of luck,

Where you coming from?

i dont know. my friend says austin, dallas, or houston

Look in the Frisco area, its a suburb of Dallas. Or maybe for the small town type look in Grayson county.

You're asking for an awful lot for a reasonably priced BRAND NEW home.

Things don't work that way. If an area has all the amenities you've described then people buy up all the homes and drive up prices.

That answer is easy. The Woodlands. Here are a couple web sites:

Good schools, they are not in Houston School District, they are in Conroe Independent School District (CISD). New homes from $150K to $1M. If you like trees, this is the place. I have lived here for 18 years.
