Best location to live in the suburban area in NY?

my family wants to relocate somewhere in a suburban area in NY? (Definitely not in NYC) Please tell me where is the best in terms of peaceful neighborhood, high paying job opportunity, business potential, not the center of natural calamity like flood, and low or zero crime rate?
