Daycare or learning center? |
I am interested in purchasing a business what is the differance between a daycare and a learning center ? When I visited a learning academy I said something about a daycare and the lady was really offended. Do they have differant rules or guide lines???????????? To a large extent, "learning center" is a fancy name for a daycare. A "learning center" might also be someplace like a preschool where the children attend for limited hours maybe a few days a week - in daycare, they are often there all day, five days a week, while their parents work. I'm not totally sure but i think a learning center is like a pre-school or any school where you accually are learning things and a day care is like having someone babysit your kids and they play with them and do fun things with them. I'm not totally sure but I think that's what it is. Good luck |
