My friend wanted to set up a karaoke center and I did a feasibility study and it look promising...?

It's somewhere in an up coming area where I can see the development is catching up fast. There's no karaoke outlet here yet. At present there are only 3 cyber cafes and three pool rooms, other then that there's nothing else to keep the youngsters or the young people around this area happy. Of course they can go out to some other places to have the facilities that they wanted but that would be about 15 or 20 minutes drive from the place I am taliking about.

I hope to get some good ideas or suggestions here at YAM.

1 How do one go about to have a karaoke center, I mean what would you suggest ?
2. What other entertainment business that will be quite promising in a place such as mentioned here ?

each year there is some sort of fad or trend that people buy or do because it is what everyone else is doing. Over the years there have been many such fads. Karaoke has been around for many years but mostly found in bars that serve alcohol. The business makes no money from the karaoke , they just hope people will drink more if they are having a good time. If you are considering opening one you need to have a source of income one idea might be is to offer the people a recording of their song on a CD that they can buy, or if they like someone Else's song they can buy 1 of theirs too.
