Xbox 360 repair question? |
I sent my xbox 360 in for repair 16 days ago (12 business days). My repair status has been stuck on "recieved at repair center" for a while now, so I decided to call xbox support to see what the hell was going on. The rep. said that my repair order was 'escalated' and that my xbox 360 was sent to a "repair specialist". Bad news sending out your system like that, you are at their mercy. Your XBOX will work when you get it back but when will you get it back? I spent my year in iraq fixing xbox's for my fellow soldiers and know its not hard when you know what your doin so hopefully you'll get someone working on yours that is expierienced enough to fix it right. Good Luck and if all else fails tell them to send it back as is and go to a local electronic repair shop or do it yourseld there are xbox troubleshooting guides and part suppliers all over the internet. You can even add a mod if you dare get that technical into it. I dont know why normally they instantly replace the console with a working refirbished unit. turnover is normally 7 business day |
