Would you tour the devastation in New Orleans? |
Would you tour the devastation in New Orleans as part of a trip to the New Orleans area? The locals wouldn't mind. If so what areas or locations would be most important to see? I agree me. that Waveland and Bay St. Louis and much of the Mississippi coast is in need of some visitors too. One of my favorite restauraunts in Waveland is BB's BBQ and I know they love tourist business right now. Waveland where my house was is absolutley horrendous. Honey, I take the disaster tour every time I leave my house. Try 20+ miles of it... Report It its cynical istn't it? ok ok, new orleans, was ravaged yes. it got all of the media attention. people have not even cared, let alone rememberd about mississippi. new orleans has a city again, many areas in mississippi are still in ruins. my sister lives in mississippi. if i could find the video she found about it, i would put it here. people, yes its a tragedy, but clumping all of our support onto 1 certain area, isnt a good idea. other people STILL need help in mississippi and no doubt other areas, and probably still in new orleans. No desire to tour devastated areas on a vacation. Yeah, I'd like to visit to look into investment opportunities. Any ideas?? Email me. We have toured it several times, It is still so unbelievable. I live here though, anytime someone comes up, we take them. The dome and the convention center are fixed because they are expecting visitors. Um, the 9th ward? Sure after that...tours to the middle east! Are you kidding?!? I wouldn't go to the 9th ward for MONEY! I live in Mississippi and yeah....we need visitors too! |
