Was this statement a compliment or a subtle insult?

I was recently in attendance at a business meeting, to which I wore a brand new pinstriped suit I had just purchased and had tailored to fit me, complete with silk pocket square.

A younger woman at the meeting looked at me and said "I see you have your Sports Center announcer suit on today." (from ESPN's Sports Center show).

I can't figure out if she was complimenting me, or issuing a subtle jab/insult. What do you think? lol

compared to the other meeting attendees, I was ever-so-slightly overdressed. No one else had a formal pocket square, and no one else's shoes were so nice and polished.

it was an insult by far.... Or trying to send a message she thought you looked over done...
You shouldve asked her flat out if she mind you looking good...
I would love to see guys dressed to impress no1 does nowadays

Matters how she said it, but it sounds like sarcasm.

Depends in what tone she said it you could take it as a compliment

it was totally a compliment

maybe she was just joking? maybe she wanted to hook up with you, that was just her way of getting you to talk to her.

I think it was a flirty, joking way of saying that you were dressed nicer than usual and she noticed..

any woman who admits to a man she watches sports center is trying to start a conversation.
