Was this statement a compliment or a subtle insult? |
I was recently in attendance at a business meeting, to which I wore a brand new pinstriped suit I had just purchased and had tailored to fit me, complete with silk pocket square. compared to the other meeting attendees, I was ever-so-slightly overdressed. No one else had a formal pocket square, and no one else's shoes were so nice and polished. it was an insult by far.... Or trying to send a message she thought you looked over done... Matters how she said it, but it sounds like sarcasm. Depends in what tone she said it you could take it as a compliment it was totally a compliment maybe she was just joking? maybe she wanted to hook up with you, that was just her way of getting you to talk to her. I think it was a flirty, joking way of saying that you were dressed nicer than usual and she noticed.. |
