Why would a man not call a woman he likes and admires, if she gave him her number?

About a 10 months ago a started taking a class a recreation center. A few months ago, I started noticing the center manager gazing at me often. However, it wasn't until he approached me, that I knew he liked me. I am 100% sure he likes me. He never approached me again, but would smile, speak, give eye contact and flirt. I think he was intimidated, as most men I encounter are. Therefore, I decided to give him my business card with my cell number to call if ever he wanted to talk. He never called. Why?????

As much as he may admire you, did you ever consider that he may not be free? That has never stop anyone from approaching someone, but since it was never "consumated," I would guess that there are other circumstances and would rate him as not available.

Maybe he is just shy, or maybe he is married. Maybe you should just ask him! Best wishes!

We all (men and women) fear failure. often we don't begin things for fear of doing it, or finishing it wrong or poorly. We can't fail if we dont try. Logic would tell us that's it's "the journey and not the destination", but it's not always that simple for some people.

It's hard to say. If you are really 100% sure he likes you, maybe:
- he got another date or he's in a marriage?
- he's not quite sure if he wants to be closer to you or just staying the way it is.
- he's overwhelmed by some other stuff.

Or maybe he doesn't like you as much as he wants to make a phone call to you. Good luck, and I believe you can contact him to find out. You don't have to say "why didn't you call me", not that frankly. You can just spend time talking with him and try to get a perception of how you are like in his mind.
