Where is the best place to open store?

if you are going to have a business like dollar store, would you choose a place with just a few stores or a big shopping center?
i was thinking that if its in a place where there aren't that many stores around the competetion would be less and local people would walk into the store more frequently. do you think its right?

Choose location that has the most traffic. You get to decide.

i am not sure about where to put a dollor store but i can tell you about the family dollor store here where i live and its a very busy place !!! i work next door from it so i know ,, there is a lumber , shoe, goodwill, and foodland store in that section WITH THE FAMILY DOLLER . THE STORE IS OPEN FROM 8 AM TO 8 PM AND IT IS ALWAYS PACKED WITH PEOPLE SHOOPING THERE
