If the bible is true and all So called Christian religions are based on the bible, Why so much infighting?

All these so called christians spend vast amounts of money and form big organizations judt to fight each other for power, control, size, bigger and bigger buildings, bigger crouds, and all that good stuff that is actually worthless except for fame and glory in a temporary position. What is going on? what has happened to the world? what has happened to this so called christian movement and better life.

Today religion is just a slave pit that is demanding more donations, working to get big, have that great hollywood image, and be honorede by the masses like a bunch of movie stars.

Maybe in the future there will be a academy awards cerrimony or a Miss Christian contest yearly on TV, who knows.

Where is that moral cuidance center and the place of refuge when one is down and out so to say and could find a place to kinda put things back in order and finde a new way to life? Is is a thing of the past?

I'm sure you remember the Inquisition.. or the papal pardons, or especially the crusades(did you know that in one crusade they sent children in battle because they we're the only ones left? and all for money...). Imagine you we're the pope, and that millions of people believe that you are the represent-ant on earth of the God that gave them all that they have.. you would give him total obedience, in respect for God. Such a power would corrupt many, if not all... maybe it striped the officials of the church of that time of their faith and fear of God, or maybe they never had faith and we're fake as today's politicians.. we can only assume, will never know for sure.. Of course there are good guys too, that fight for preserving God's laws and for the well-fair of Cristian's, they are the motif for which people believe in God up to this day, they are the hope of the church and of the salvation pf humanity as we know it:( It's sad that those who preach moral values have never done anything more with them..

I agree with your points. I don't think that what I would call "old faith" is a thing of the past, it just isn't in the main stream. It has been overshadowed by greed and power. That is a shame. I know how you feel, but have faith there are still those of us that believe the way that you do!! God Bless!!!

Religion is just a tool to further power and money

In response at least to the beginning of your question, most ecumenical disputes within Christianity are because different sect interpret the bible different ways. Some say it is literal, some say there is flexibility. Even those who say it is literal read into different passages in different ways.

Judaism and Islam both have sects too. As for the business part that's another story that to me doesn't even seem related.

The Bible, the Kora'an have always been interpreted differently by different people/groups no matter how learned they are in religious education. that's why christians, muslims worship their own brands of faith.
