Transfer voip calls from a server through html to a client at home?


i want to start a call center with work at home agents that can sign in through https and recieve calls at home through a free client that recieves transfered calls through voip on there machine...

is this possible and what would i need to do this other than a server, a business voip 800 number, human resources team, and the hardware clients for the HR.?

I'd be a bit hesitant on this. VoIP is an application that doesn't react well with with internet latency. If this is a business critcal call center, I'd look heavily into QoS applications that can guarantee that the call will not sound choppy.

To ensure that the servers and your calls are protected, you should do this over a VPN that provides QoS on it's hardware/software clients. You'd also have to make sure that the VoIP application (SIP protocol based clients probably) reacts well through a VPN. (Added overhead for the encryption along with NAT traversal issues)
