Extremely small crying baby on a desk turning to a doll?

I had a very odd dream last night. I fell asleep with my husband curled up to me as usual, but I had the oddest dream about him. I dreamed that I was in my ex's old failed business, in the place itself. I dreamed I was in the backroom and heard a baby crying. I walked in and saw my ex with his head laying on the desk, sleeping. My ex turned into my husband somehow. On the corner of the desk, was a baby that was crying that turned into a doll that was still crying, and it was tiny and like the size of a small doll, too. I heard a commotion in the front and heard people talking. I walked out and they were looking at the wall. On the wall, there were 5 pictures, with the center one being biggest. They were very long and big. It was of another part of the office, but in 5 separate pieces. I almost never remember my dreams, and for some reason this one stood out. Can anyone tell me if it has any significance, or if there is any symbolism in it?

I was also emotionless in the dream, except toward the baby, but when I saw it was a doll I did not pick it up. I just looked.

Thats a strange dream, but most are. I dont have an answer for you but you didnt mention what the pictures where of, or at least the big one in the center.....thanks for sharing. I hope you add more info.....

Very interesting...In my opinion, I thnk your dream is a feeling of inadiquecy that you have felt with your current mate. This person is a reflection of your old mate, and, the doll head is a symbol of you going trough the motion of playing house with this person. If your current mate is in the same predicament as the last, then, you should leave or figure out your comfort level with abiguity. I looks to me like you are a progressive planner in your own life and someone who doesn't will make you extremely uncomfortable....

My guess is that you married your new husband solely for the reason that he is nothing like like your ex, similar to trying to raise a child exactly the opposite of how we were raised ourselves. That in itself is probably not a bad thing, but it seems that you haven't completely let you ex go, and that your new husband probably feels like he has to compete with your ex, which may be why he goes out of his way to treat you like "more than a queen". The baby doll that is crying may be your husband desperately wanting to stop competing for you attention with your ex. You may want to considering forgiving your ex husband, and in the process, relieve the stress that your new husband is hiding from you(hence the doll as opposed to a real baby), in trying to appease your every desire.
