Yahoo! Answers rehabilitation center ??

This is my story:

At first when I joined yahoo answers. I used to take good use of its resources to ask practical questions in my life. I use to have a wonderful family and I used to own a small business selling bamboo leaves. But I realize my habit is slowly out of control as this is the second weekend i stayed home just answering people's questions and wandering around in this environment pointlessly interacting with profiles with beautiful avatars. Getting high for points given for best answers, and upset when my questions were removed. The points can't even deem rewareds in the physical realm! My wife have gotten jealous of me talking with the female avatars & cleaned out her closet & left with my 2 baby kids due to my addiction being on Y! answers 24/7, not preparing my kids bamboo leaf meals, and not to mention my business have collapsed because i can't bother to leave my laptop. You can tell i'm so drained that i'm losing my sense of humor as well...

Yes, but it took a emotional beating from Richard on 12/31 (where he got 40,000 points in a day and pasted me to the wall) that I learned, I need balance here.

I can relate, as a computer was one of the causes of the demise my marriage of 22 years....But I can assure you there was more to it than just innocent chatting. Cheating emotionally is maybe worse than physical cheating, as at least you have something, or someone to blame it on.... Maybe there is a little more to this story that maybe you are not even ready to face... Take a tad of advice from someone who has survived a situation such as this, my children's father went from seeing his baby girl every day, to one day a week, & every other weekend. I know this maybe more than some, but do you think that matters to his precious 6 year old baby girl? & no I do not keep him away, he is acquiring his new family... So take heed fella, you better make sure this is what you want, cause you are about to lose 3 of what SHOULD be the most important things in your life...

i understand especially the format they use here is so fun. you get to say whatever you want. from all kinds of alter ego's of different people. but yeah dont over do it after all those points gets you nowhere.

I sure can. I had it real bad when I first joined. ....Wait, Ive got it real bad now. Im here everyday. I cant get away. My family was getting upset with me at first, but now they let me do what I want.

It is rediculous what this site does to a person. Its hard to walk away.
