Where can I get a job that I can bring my baby with me? |
My husband is a member of the United States Armed Forces so he's never really home. I have a 4-month-old daughter and I'd love to have a job that I can take her with me and not have to worry about hiring a sitter (because honestly, all the money I earn would go to paying for one.) I'm not a very social person and things like Avon just don't work for me (I've already tried selling mark by Avon online and no one visits my site.) I don't want to do something home-based and I'm not in the market to start my own business (who has money for these kinds of things anyway.) I want a real job with a paycheck and a boss. Does anyone know of any jobs like this in the Fayetteville/Fort Bragg, NC area or is anyone offering jobs like this? I don't have the time or money to get a license to work at a daycare center, that suggestion's already been made for me. Thanks for all your help, to those of you who answer. I don't know of any office jobs. Companies usually don't want the liability. Self employment is the only way to go if you don't want to go the day care route. I'm a graphic designer and work from home with my little boys. Actually, I worked at a daycare in college (I was in college for business) and to be a teacher's aide you don't need any schooling besides high school. The pay isn't that great, though. Also, I know a woman who has her own home cleaning business, and takes her baby in the pack n play with her. She asks all the clients if this is ok first. Other than that, there's not many jobs where you can bring the baby along, unfortunately. Home is the best place. Make your own schedule. My husband is overseas and I have no choice but to stay at home. Beleive me, don't do the Avon, I tried it and lost a lot of time and money. Jennifer, mother of 5 Hope these job websites beneficial to you. |
