Multiple flagpoles ? is correct alignment of US flag. fully to left or center?

I see businesses with the US Flag fully to the left and also in the middle of a 3 pole system. I thought that nothing was to be to the left of the flag. Thankyou for your time.

The US flag is to be flown in the center of the flag polls that is if there is three of them but if there are two flag polls you fly it to the one on the left. and the US flag is the one that is also flown the highest if you ever look the center flag poll when there is three polls is always higher then the rest.

If there is a line, to the left (the flag's own right)

If there is a front to back (a V" style, etc) then in front in the center.

If there is a higher pole, on the higher pole.
