Do businesses in Ontario need to collect Quebec Sales Tax on orders sent to customers in Quebec? |
I run a small business in Ontario and recently received increasing orders from customers in the Province of Quebec. Orders are sent from my office to the shipping addresses in Quebec. Somebody told me that I had to register a QST account with the Government of Quebec and collect QST accordingly. Is it true? Yes they do. Should be a service on the phone for English speaking people. |
