My email address goes to spam. i.e. I cc myself in on all email to keep a copy. Today they started to spam me |
I have always CC or BCC my business emails back to myself for a copy and do not understand why today they are going to my spam mailbox instead of my in box. I have my email address added to my address book. This has only started to happen in the last week. Otherwise it has worked for over a year. Put your own address in your address book to prevent that happening. Depending on what program you're using (or website for that matter) you can list your own e-mail address in the "safe sender" or "friend" in the spam filter settings. It's very easy if you have MSFT Outlook for instance, you would simply have to right click on it and select "add to known senders list." The cause is confusing, the solution is simple. Hope this helped.
check to be sure that your address isn't on your 'Blocked list". |
