Where on an I-9 form does a notary public sign after I completed section 1?

Section 2 states: "Employer Review and Verification. To be completed and signed by employer. Examine one document from List A OR examine one document from List B and one from List C, as listed on the reverse of this form, and record the title, number and expiration date, if any, of the document(s). Then it says, "CERTIFICATION - I attest under penalty of perjury, that I have examined the document(s) presented by the above-named employee that the above-listed document(s) appear to be genuine and to relate to the employee named, that the employee began employment on (month/day/year)_____and that to the best of my knowledge the employee is eligible to work in the United States. (State employment agencies may omit the date the employee began employment.)" Under that it says, "Signature of Employer or Authorized Representative Print Name Title Business or Organization Name and Address Date." Where in that does the notary public sign?

Here's my understanding: you don't need to have the I-9 form notarized. I am a notary and also an employer and I use the I-9 form all the time for new employees. All of the "swearing to" and "attesting to" language on the form simply means that the employer signing it is vouching for the documents and the person the best they can. It's just simply signed by the employer that you did your due diligence to make sure the person is legal to work in the US. No notary public is needed.
