I recently called Ice because I know an illegal using a fake identity why do they ask for the address?

I called and told them where he worked, his discription, and real name but they said I could not continue because I didn't have his address. Does anybody know why is that? I was also wondering if I can file a report on the business instead!

I talked to this person he bought a fake driver's license and ssc.

BRAVO! You did the right thing. They certainly CAN continue without the address, although it would certainly be easier for them to pick him up at his home. You can file a report with http://wehirealiens.com/ . I've had great responses with them and it costs nothing. They not only post the employer and notify them that they have been reported, but also send additional reports to DHS, ICE and IRS. When it comes to illegal alien reports, the more people reporting the same person/persons -- the more likely they are to be rounded up quickly. Once they are listed on wehirealiens other people tend to report on the business too.

they want the residence address so they can go pick him up in hte middle of hte night when he's sure to be home. you CAN also file a report on the business. They will want to know how many illegals work there. The number has to be high enough to warrant a raid. The Federal Trade Commission takes complaints on identity theft. Don't know their toll-free number though. check the blue pages in your phone book.
