Domain and hosting companies?

I have a domain name registered in the uk and the associated website is being hosted by Yahoo small business.
I'm having no luck accessing the mail address I set up with Yahoo even though it says it's active. (info@mysite.com)
Is this because my domain name is with another company?

Normally if your domain is registered through a different company than your host, you will have to log into the company that you got your domain from to access email. Yahoo will have nothing to do with that. I suggest just completely going with a new company, and getting everything together. Yahoo is nice but expensive compared to the leaders in the industry.

Did you change the DNS servers to the ones Yahoo specified?

If you did that and waited 48 hours and its still not working with email accounts you setup in yahoo something is wrong, just email yahoo for some help.
