Where can I find informaion about businesses that have just started up?

Im looking to find information on business that have just started up, i.e are under 1 year old.
Im looking for names, addresses and tel numbers if possible.
IDEALLY for free, but i know we dont live in an ideal world so other guidance is very much appreciated.

Companies House will have lists of names of companies and there addresses, and how long they have been running for.

You can find details of a specific business from Companies House but I don't think there will be a database of companies that have just started up. You could try your local Chamber of Commerce but I don't hold out much hope.

Thomsons Local offer a service that provides details of new businesses. They base it on changes of address so sometimes you'll get the names of businesses that have moved rather than are new. There is a fee for using the service.

Visiting the Companies House register will give you the names of recently registered limited companies. However, the data that they hold covers the registered office address, which is not necessarily the trading address. They don't give telephone numbers. There are fees for finding the names of the principals of the business.
