About Cancelling my Ballys Contract?

The Contract states
"Cancellation Rights:a) Consumer Right to Cancelation. You May cancel this Contract without any penalty or further obligation within 3 days from this date. b) this one says that you have to have some sort of excuse.The cancellation period referenced in the preceding sentence expires at the end of three business days after the date of receipt by you or the written contract, which is the "date of contract" appearing at your signature. Notice of cancellation shall be written signed by the buyer and mailed to us( address enclosed). ATTN: CANCELLATION THe Club must refund all your money and return the original financing papers, if any within15 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF CANCELLATION NOTICE."

I signed up April 14th. They told me it was a 3 month plan when it was a 3 year plan. I called them up and they say they did a form to cancel my thing. People told me that I should mail in through Delivery confirmation just to be on the safe side. I did so. Will I be okay?

This is an old trick of most of the work out places, but I definetely would NOT trust them to take care of anything to cancel over the phone. If you are still within your three days, go down in person and cancel it. Or at least, get the three months and not the three years.And read whatever they place in front of you more carefully.
