Web Page Security? |
I am trying to register to a web site, however, the "encryption" part of it, the web address does begin with https, but there is a line over the "lock" symbol, saying that web site is unauthenticated? is this something to be concern about? and the web site/business that i am registering is located in an another country. thanks That is mean the website is encrypted and there's no third party can access the website , only you and the website . but I recommend you download the McAfee SiteAdvisor. It alerts you about a bad website : For https, there is a public and private key encryption. The public key is held by approved athenticators. |
