Google maps?

Google maps has this new feature where, in many cases (especially if you live in/near a city) they have driven down all the roads and you can look at a picture of the address you type in. This could be good for businesses I suppose, but I'm not too comfortable with being able to pull a picture of my house up on the internet where you can see my car in the driveway. If the house is close enough to the street and the blinds are open, you can sometimes zoom in and see what people have in their houses! Also, if someone was outside when these pictures were taken, there they are for all the world to see. I think this is being taken too far. What do you think?

I agree with you, I dont like the idea of someone actually seeing my house. I have 4 kids and I dont want some pshyco looking at where I live and happen to see my kids outside. You know what I mean? I worry about pshycos enough on the streets, I dont want one to come to my area from off the internet!

If somebody really wants to see if your car's in your driveway and what's inside your house when your blinds are open, they're going to find a way with or without the Google Street View. People who are specifically looking for your house can just as easily drive by it and people who are looking online b/c they're too far away to drive by you really don't have to worry about so I wouldn't over analyze it.

its know as street view. i just take the picture from the street level it will not take the picture or ur house. though u can see the house if u live on the street. its leagle
