Business Registration Law?

I have a technical consultation business in Singapore. I am presently staying with my son in Arizona as a visitor. I need to use my son's apartment address on my website, business card etc for a limited time to receive my correspondence.

Do I need a business license in Arizona to do so? I will not conduct any business activities nor any financial transactions pertaining to my business while in Arizona.

If you aren't processing payments, recieving cash or operating a business you are fine.

You need to contact the business licensing office for the city you live in. They are probably going to say you do. You might be OK if you dont actually do business in the state, but every city has their own regulations with regards to this.

Although it sounds like you will not need a business license
it will still depend on whether you sells or accept funds (money) for any products. However, there is the basic question of INTENT if you have a business address and business card, which infers some product is to be sold.
