Should i use c/o when sending mail to a business?

i want to send mail to someone at their work, should i address the envelope like

John Doe
c/o Yahoo Inc.
123 Fake street
blah blah

or should i just leave out the c/o?

Yahoo Inc
Att: John Doe
123Fake Street
blah b;ah

Yahoo, Inc.
123 Fake Street
blah blah
c/o John Doe

c/o is in care of so it indicates the person the mail is going to not the company.

As others has put it, Use ATTN and leave out C/O, especially when sending to a business. The mail room can sort who gets what mail when you put ATTN. C/O is hardly ever used and should not be used unless requested by the person the letter is being sent to. The only other time to use it is when sending to a residential address such as
Daughter
C/O Mom and Dad
123 home street
city, state zip

where the main residence have been there for a long time, so the post man knows that someone else is also staying at that residence.

Either c/o or Attn is fine as long as it's in front of the person's name, not the company name.
