How do I report a suspicious phone credit card solicitation?

I'm on the National "Do Not Call" list, so we rarely get phone solicitations anymore. We got one this morning though - a phone message said to dial 9 to save money on high credit card bills. I was immediately suspicious, I dialed 9 and a real person answered. When I demanded their business name and address, they hung up immediately. Is there anyway to report this - and to who? (We don't have caller ID so there we don't even have the number that tried to call.)

Check out your cards. Call them and ask if any of them were trying to change your status.
