I can not email a business associate at earthlink.net. Yahoo server says it is not a valid IP address?

Up till yesterday I have had no problem, his email address has not changed. I can receive his emails, but when I hit reply I get a failure notice from yahoo stating that his IP address is incorrect. He is still receiving emails from everyone else with no problems

Sounds like someone has enabled a firewall either on purpose or inadvertently.

McAfee and Norton are also known to auto-protect, if (either of you) has been changing settings there.

Could be different reasons.

The exact error message "word for word" would help.
