Why can't I choose my own MSN display name when I login on my personal e-mail address? |
I recently signed up for a Windows Live ID using my business e-mail address which is gavin@fxit.co.uk. I can login to MSN messenger, but the box where you change your display name is greyed out. Does anyone know why? If so, how can I alter my display name? Well actually it's not greyed out. It's because there is nothing there. You have to enter your display name if this happens. I had a similar problem like this before. If this problem still persists you should uninstall msn and re-install is again. Remember if this persists re-install! Have Fun! hmmmm... Re-boot or you may have a firewall issue You won't be able to change your name if your Windows Live ID has not been verified. In hi log in at meebo.com and click on msn and then you can change your name I think, though I'm not sure, that you have to have a hotmail account created on MSN in order to change your display name. I'm not 100% sure, but I think that may be it. Hummmm ? |

I have deleted my browsing history and all other things that I could... Call and ask if there is one person who does the hiring. If no is responsilbe then ask name of the person in the department you want to work in, ie IT, Accounitng, Executive office. Then address ... Move first...then change your name....don't do everything at once....let your people get comfortable...UNLESS....you do a major information mailing...may have to follow up with another...be ca... |
