Have any of you been scammed via email? Do you know where to report it? |
The guy this email address belongs to> toddbrown40@yahoo.com is a scammer that tried to scam me. He "supposedly" wanted to buy some jewelry from me but according to my StatCounter, he never clicked on my link to view the jewelry. I had a feeling that this was a scam from the start but followed through with a price etc. just to see what he would say. He wanted to send a $2500 "cashiers check" to me to cover a $240 invoice and I was supposed to take my portion out and send the remainder to his " coordinator" in the US to cover shipping of the jewelry, if this was acceptable to me. I replied and said NO it was NOT acceptable among a few other things so all of you watch out for this guy and do not do any business with him. I dont know how to report this to yahoo or even if they would do anything to stop him but I feel that I have to do something to get word out about this &%$#@@^%%%&&%%$$$##@@@ if you know what I mean by that. Keeping it g rated just in case any kids read it. Nice catch! Lol that guy sounds like an idiot. Glad you're smart about that stuff, and that you said stuff to him. =) I don't know what to do though, other than mark his email as spam. |
