Modeling Scout Sent Me This To My Myspace Should I Bother?

Have you ever thought about modeling or acting? I am a scout for One Source Talent. OST can help you find all sorts of opportunities in the entertainment industry. OST is a national company with offices all across the country.

We have been in business for 4 years. We are looking for new faces for promotional, print, commercial, runway and high fashion models as well as actors for anything from major movies to reality tv! Please check out my blogs for more info on the company!!

(You only need to attend one open call , There's No Fee To Attend. I will need to know which day you will be attending along with your full name and email address).

Casual, natural makeup, hair down and heels.

During the open call we will be taking measurements, a couple photos, tell you about the company and then you will meet one on one with a talent specialist for a mini interview. There will be 20-30 other people there.
No cost to attend open call.
You may bring a friend or family memeber for support

Trust me for modeling no one would do that.
Ive been a small model for make-up, and they wouldnt even waste time doing that, most dont even get accepted that easily

Sounds fake since it's off myspace. But maybe it's not a scam since it's free. =]

I think that if you're confident that you can model or act in any way, that you should. I think it's a great oppourtunity, and you should take it. It's not too often that talent scouts choose people online. Just try it :) It should be fun :D

I have a profile on there site so they are a legit name.
Just follow your gut instinct and don't pay any money or give out personal info. Use an alias or fake name for security.
It sounds weird for someone to scout models on Myspace so Im not really sure.

Edit: Since it says its free and you can bring support Try it out. Sounds safe enough to me.

No, they have only been in business for 4 years. They are not accomplished enough. I wouldn't bother. Probably a scam. But if you do decide to go, remember that any reputable agency will not ask for money upfront. Just in case they do or make you take their training class for a fee. And who scouts ppl over myspace. That's strange.

ok look...i am n experienced model n trust me i kno the business....so i noticed there is no fee to attend..i think u shud cal and ask for more information like wat it costs n if it costs n e money DNT GO!!!!!...I REPEAT DO NOT GO!!!! if it asks for n e type of money for pictures...gt up n walk out cus its FAKE. N IF IT SAYS TO COME BY YOURSELF...DNT GO AT ALL

BEWARE Of these SCAMS:
If an agency asks for money upfront, they are a SCAM!
A real agency will not require money until YOU make money. You can look up this information on the internet and in real agency websites like Ford Model.

I believe thats what they send to everyone. If you are getting married, why would you be looking for a modeling gig?
