Is this true or someone pulling my leg?

Adobe and Paypal though they are 2 entirely different businesses they are operated by the same people! That's what someone from ebay said! I do have just as much trouble with Adobe as I do with Paypal
similar problems! So I suspect the person may have been telling me the truth! Adobe wants too much information about my computer.. they said they could not install cause of missing kernal.. and asked for details of my computer and it's operating system. Paypal always wants a new email address cause the one I give them is on file.
As far as I'm concerned they are both a pain in the you know what! I complained to BBB about them but they say those companies are not under their jurisdiction!

Adobe is a pdf company and they do download without permission sometimes!
They can't do that on my current computer cause they tried! They said they couldn't cause a required kernel is missing on my system.. They asked for info to supply the missing kernel!

also note that all online companies like paypal , or adobe, etc. are always trying to keep track of who users are, so be careful, do note that papypal is not always accountable for losses, and may be better to use bank card with insurances, adobe does track users via records back to the 90's Report It

Adobe is a company that produces printer drivers and software for the printing companies.
Adobe won't ask you. They just supply drivers to support you and the hardware attached to your computer.
Paypal is a financial service company in the sense that, it is recognized as a monetary standard over the net.

Paypal is very easily frauded on a weekly basis. Watch yourself with these new email address. They clone them, not paypal but the hackers . Then they send you emails asking you to update your profile which is total B.S.H.I.T

Adobe is a software company and as far as I can tell, they are not related to PayPal.

However, eBay did purchase PayPal, they whomsoever told you that at eBay, is very dumb or leading you down the wrong path.

No, they are not owned by the same company. Ebay owns PayPal and Adobe is it's own corporation.

Like leftie said, it may not be PayPal that's wanting your email address. If you are receiving emails that look like they are from PayPal that are requesting information from you, it's probably a fraudulent email that's trying to scam you into giving your personal information to them. Companies usually don't request information from you like that. Be careful.

EDIT: No, they are not run by the same people. I don't believe they are affiliated either. They are both headquartered in San Jose, CA. They have different a CEO/president.
