Is it legal to contact a business e-mail address for the purpose of solicitation of services? |
Someone I know received an e-mail concerning disney vacations and discounts. It was sent from a personal account, with a business e-mail added at the bottom, to a work e-mail address. This person has a personal account, which also received the same message. Is it legal for the sender to solicit a work address? So, solicitation is legal to all e-mail accounts? Including work only related accounts? it is best just to delete the message. Do not respond as then they will know they have reached a valid email account. It is their way of checking. Yes, it is legal, but 99% of the time, it doesn't do anything. Yes it is. |
