Does your company have a policy that you cannot receive mail at your business address? |
The reason I ask is we don't have any written policy and several people have rec'd packages at work but now they are making a big deal about it. Does the company need to have a written policy, especially if it is not registered mail or return receipt requested? Thanks for your input. All companies should have policies in writing. This protect both the company and the employee. Most companies have a policy stating that employees can not receive mail at work. I work for a global company with hundreds of employees on two shifts at my work location and I have not heard of any policy re: mail at work. Although, I have received free magazine trial subscriptions in the past that were occasionally a month late getting to me. If the mail or package would be of a personal nature, I wouldn't want it delivered to my business address for fear it would get lost or I wouldn't receive it in time. |
