Does anyone have ideas on how to maximize exposure for my new small business internet address?

I am lookiing for way to maximize traffic on my new site. I have submitted the URL to Yahoo and Google. My budget is limited, so any ideas would be appreciated.
I live in Sonoma, CA, wine country. My nieghbor, who works for a winery, was concerned about the many oak winebarrels that sometimes were disposed of in landfills. We decided to start a business on the side, and it is doing quite nicely here in the local area. Now it is on a web site and on e-bay. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
John

I'm actually working on doing the same for the online business that I work for. It's called SEO (search engine optimization). There are MANY sites out there that will accept your URL submission and then submit it to search engines, and the more of this that your site gets, the better its ranking on the search engine.

Search "SEO" at any search engine, and you'll likely find numerous links to these sites. Many will accept free submissions, although this increases the time it takes to get reviewed, but I noticed many of the paid sites don't cost much at all, as cheap as $1.00.

Contrary to popular belief, it does not take a lot of money to have robots pick up your site... Just go to google or yahoo and then search yahoo submit url or similar, and you should be able to directly submit your site, but even with those other pay in sites, it'll take at least 2 months to catch it... Like mine yourspace.247ihost.com won't show up anywhere, but it will after a couple of months...
