I need to set business email address in Outlook, I got the domain purchased through GoDaddy...? |
What are the next steps? I know I need to go to tools, then email accounts, but nothing more than that! Help greatly appreciated!!! Does an email account automatically come with the domain? Did they provide you with an email server and the POP / SMTP information? Lots of questions. The next step would normally be to set up a place to place your business website which would normally include an email server/smtp/pop server. if GoDaddy provides this, then I would check the start up email from them for the information on how to setup your personal email for using their email servers. This is too much to answer in one question. You will have to add an account and put in your POP and SMTP server information. This will be given to you from GoDaddy. They should be the ones you are asking. go to Help section in Outlook ... you can find more ... they have a way for you to start with your very own business Outlook ... Domain is just a name. Your domain name has nothing to do with your e mail. The domain name simply directs people to the place where your website is stored and that is ALL it does. Your internet service provider has your primary e mail account in outlook. All you have to do is link your e mail on your website to your e mail addy. If you want another outlook express e mail account through your ISP you will have to create one. Most ISPs provide you with more than one e mail account. Go to your ISPs website and configure a new account or use your existing one. |
