I have noticed with some business postal address they have a DX number what does this mean.? DX is "document exchange"; it is an alternative delivery service from postal service. A business has to subscribe to DX to become a member, they are allocated a DX address and they can then use the DX service to send and receive mail deliveries. Subscription fees are based on usage (so it is a user-pays service), but once registered you pay nothing more for each item you send by DX. Within a specified area overnight delivery is guaranteed; DX is generally considered more reliable, cheaper and easier to use than post. |
