When you give your email address to a business can they trace who I am and find out my address? definately.....anyone can do that! it is offered in many web sites as a people search. If you have their email you can get their # and address. almost certainly If you've ever given out your email address with your personal details then they could possibly find out who you are on a database. If you haven't and don't use your name in your address, then they have no way of tracing you. One time on CrimeWatch, there was a Hotmail addy involved, somehow. I'll never forget the Police were basicly getting a bit tired of people jamming their switchboards to explain how to trace someone's home address from a Hotmail account!
