I recently found out that the home I bought someone else is using my address for their business.? |
What do you think we should do? We do NOT know who these people are and this house has always been a rental. we own this home. So I recently found out some one was using my address for their business.. when i yahoo my address the name of the business shows up. I know i Have rights and that it is fraudulant to use my address. I was wondering what else i might do.. what steps should i persue? Your question is confusing. Inform the police. Get lawyer. Sue! Any correspondence that you recieve that is not for you, take it to the post office and have them return it to sender. I suggest contacting the phone company, developers and police about this. Go to City Hall, do some research and do a scan on microfiche at the library. This just sounds suspicious. I get a feeling it's connected to something illegal. The only other possibilities: it's a business without a license or somebody uses this address for certain tax purposes. |
