Do I have to tell people/business that I have changed my address?

I did an address change at the post office and apparently they notified some of my insurance companies, etc that I had a different address. I don't think I should have to let them know that I am getting my mail some where else at this point. I keep getting a letter from the house insurance company (with the new mailing address on it) that I need to notify them of my correct address. Looks to me like they already have it!!

trust me...no they don't. Only the postal office.

Call everyone and give them your new information, espiecially the IRS. If you don't in a few months, you could miss out on important info if someone is trying to reach you. the post office only puts a sticker on your mail through transition for about 6 months. They don't notify anyone/place/business of importance.
It's up to YOU!!!
