If you need to look up or find a phone number or address for a local business, Do You?

a) use the paper phonebook
b) use the internet

Most often, the internet. But if I'm not on the computer, and there is a phonebook around, I use that.

Phone book second, if I have one.
Information last, because info is not what it used to be...you get robots and wrong info.

use the internet. it is the easiest. :)

If I have access to the computer I would use the internet, if not I dial 4-1-1.

1st ---paper phone book
Internet if required urgent or is an unusual business etc

C) OTHER = 411!

just call 411 for your phone number needs! lol

If it's local, I use the phonebook.
If it's not local, I use the internet.
I do use the internet for reverse search numbers. Those numbers that come up on your phone as unknown name but with the phone number.

I always use the phone book when looking up local numbers. I hate having to search through a dozen different websites full of local business listings until I find the site that actually mentions the particular business I want to inquire about. Half the time local businesses aren't listed at all, so it's just a waste of my effort to look on the net.

The paper phone book has it all right there in order. Much quicker for me.
