I've started up a small business how do I get names & address the towns around me to sent out cupons?

the cheapest thing to do is contact the town's local chamber of commerce - they have a list of local businesses registered with them. Also, the county clerk can also provide a name list - but it will cost you money. Ask if they can send it in electronic form - but if not that is ok(see below excel and word) Depends on how much you want to spend. The chambers are usually free and it is a good place to start. Also, just go thru the phone book - enter the names and addressed in excel then import them in word to do lables and stick them on - you are only out the cost of paper.
Also, make flyers and hang up with your business cards all over town - depending on your business - at least people will see it and possibly ask questions.
If you can, work out something with local hotels in the towns - lots of times they let you leave piles for the guests to pick up - but then again, depends on your business and if that is who you want to reach.
Don't pay alot to get a big list - it is better to build the list yourself and then possibly have people pay you for the list - if it is done correctly - and broken down and specific - people will pay you! good luck!!!!!

Put it in your local paper or make a webpage about it

You buy mailing lists - but it's cheaper to just contract with val-pac or one of the other big mailing companies - you get better exposure, cheaper (usually just .04 / .06 each for a minimum number), you can decide which zip codes up to zip+4 you want to send your coupons out to.

contact a marketing company who does the coupon mail outs. Val Pak is one. You can look them up online.

Survey says............. try to see if there is a local ad that has coupon in it. If so just see how much it will cost to get your put in their. I go to college and I recieve those things everyday with coupons from everywhere!
