Hi, what IP address range should I use for my business?

Ip address ranges do not matter most people do not know the ip address of web sites so it does not matter just do not get more than you need. (Usually one is fine).

If you are talking local ip addresses for your lan. If you have more than 65K computers you can use 10.x.x.x otherwise 192.168.x.x should be fine.

I wish you are talking about the Private Network you are having in your business. Use a Private IP Range.

The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) has reserved the following three blocks of the IP address space for private internets (local networks):

10.0.0.0 - 10.255.255.255
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255
192.168.0.0 - 192.168.255.255

It depends on the size of your business meaning how many computers you intend to network. In most cases, most business usually use 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.254 with a subnet of 255.255.255.0. If your connected to the Internet, I would make sure that you have a good firewall appliance in place such as FortiGate or SonicWall. These companies have models for all sizes of networks.

That depends on the router you will be using. If it only supports 254 addresses, then you will use 192.x.x.x

For a local network under 240 machines I would suggest :
192.168.0.0 with a netmask of 255.255.255.0, this is approved, and does not cause any difficulties. Any of the 192.168 range will do for this.
