How do I change the address that my sent emails show? |
I am with btinternet.com and I have business email addresses that I want to use. If someone sends an email to my business address it gets delivered to the bt inbox but when I reply it shows that I have sent it from my personal email address. I am using Microsoft office (pro plus 07) and I cant work out how to change it. Any idea anyone? In MS Outlook, go to Tools, Email accounts, view or change. Select the account you are using and click "change". The entry in the box "Your name" is the name of the sender that comes up in the inbox of someone receiving a message from you. So, type in there the name that people would expect to see if you were replying from your business account. Obviously, if they open up the name it will show the actual email address that it came from, your home address, but most people have no reason to do this. I hope that helps. When you are writing your reply - you should see an accounts button next tothe send button. click this and you can select teh account it is sent from. You should go to tools, settings, account, and you can change your name. |
