Is there a way to show a different email address as your "from" address when sending out yahoo mail?

ie. can you show your "from" address as from a non-yahoo address, such as your main business address, rather than from the yahoo mail account from which you are actually sending the mail.

I'm not sure if this is what you're looking for, but you can change your "From" name in emails.
1. Click on "Options" in the upper right of your yahoo mail page.
2. Click on "General Preferences."
3. Change the name in the first box to whatever you'd like to display. This name will appear on the "From" line of outgoing mail. Go to the bottom of the page and click the "Save" button. Now don't close the Option page yet.

Another option you might like is the "Signature" option.
Click on "Signature" and a box will open for you to add your signature along with your business address. Click the "Save" button.

I want to change my "from" email address, NOT the name. I know you can change the name, your signature, and the "reply to" address. BUT I want my email from Yahoo to appear as if it came from my other non-Yahoo email account. No one has sent an answer on how to do that. THANKS for trying! Report It

Yes. In options on the mail page enter preferences. Change the reply to field and it becomes the return destination.

Go to your Yahoo! Mail page,
click 'Options' at the upper-right of the mail window in blue texts ('Mail Options' for Yahoo! Mail Beta)
Click 'Mail Addresses',
click 'Edit',
at the top of the page in the "From name" box write the name that you want to see before your address to your recipient or leave it blank or write anything as UNKNOWN or as you like,
if you don want to send your Yahoo! Address then keep the next box "Reply to" as blank or type any alternative email address to which you want to get your reply,
click 'Save' at the bottom left of the page.

Certainly is, you have to go into default settings and change it.
