How can I access addresses of business from several years ago, that are probably out of business by now?

I am trying to bulid a resume and the business is not in the phone book any more. Can I go back to previous years to look up the info?

You might try the City Clerk's Office or your local library. The library may have a copy of an old City Directory, not a phone book, but a hardback book with listings of businesses in the area.
