Please Help!!!! I need to find out if a business is real in Cotonou,Benin Republic can someone tell me how!!!!

PLEASE HELP I AM DESPERATE FOR ANSWERS!!! Somebody out there please tell me how to find out if a certain business is the real thing before I send them my life savings. It is a bank in the city of Cotonou in the country of Benin Republic. I have been to the cities site but never could get the info I need,so I turn to all of you good people for help. The email address of the man I have been working with is an @yahoo.co.uk thats why I am writing to you,I am in the U.S. and I have no idea who or where to write and find out about this man or this business (a bank) we have been corresponding for a few months and when I send him emails it is to this bank and they go through and are recieved so is there anyway you can just make up an email address with a business name or does it have to be legit. I know the yahoo part is real but what about the rest? He has given me complete info about the bank including phone number. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME I don't know what to do or how to do it. Thank You

You must be desperate, Have you been living under a rock for the last couple of years, Everybody noes about this scam, save yourself some grief and ignore the message, I hope you have not sent any details about yourself as they are phishing for your bank details or any info to steal your identity to obtain credit or passports driving licences in your name.
