Can you view websites that an IP address visits?

is it possible for someone to use an IP address and find out what websites it has visited? This would be an IP address that is not business related and only uses a router between the cable company and comptuers attached. If so, how? and how can i block that? (if you havent guessed, i feel like someone knows where ive been going)

This is possible, yes, but the person would need to have either a Trojan on your computer (Virus) or access to your ISP's logs. Other than that, the only way for them to know what sites you are visiting is through your computer itself. You can use the History especially to see such things. One commonly overlooked but easy to use way of watching someones usage is to watch the temp files. Most websites put a "Cookie" on your machine to identify you to the website. These cookies are usually named after the site. So if someone looks at them they could easily know most of your traffic.
